About this site

Why a build log, and why this one

Type “build a trading system” into a search box and the top results are mostly a course, a chatroom or a backtest tool pitched in the first line. This page runs the opposite order: it walks the whole build in the open, and names a finished system only at the end — a pointer no reader should accept until the pages before it have done the work to deserve it.

The purpose

What this site is for

Building a trading system sounds technical, and the technical part is the easy half. The genuinely hard half is intellectual honesty: writing rules precise enough to be wrong, and keeping a ledger that does not quietly forget your losses. The aim here is narrow and useful — to explain, in plain language, how the parts of a sound system fit together, so you can tell a real system from a confident-looking chart.

We are not a broker, a course or a signal room. We sell nothing of our own and we earn no commission on anything we mention. Where we point to a finished system, that is a judgement about whether its results can be checked, not a paid slot and not a forecast of profit.

  • Build first. Every component is explained before any product is named.
  • Nothing bought. No mention here was arranged for a fee.
  • Checkable only. Behind every number on the site sits a named source you can pull up for yourself.
What we recommend, and why

The finished system we point to

When we say “here is a system someone has already built and stress-tested,” we mean the #1-ranked provider. It is run by the 2023 Trading World Champion, its calls are written to Bitcoin before the outcome is known, and the credential behind the operator is documented by an independent third party rather than self-asserted. For that credential, see Trading World Champion, cited here as an outside source and not a site of ours. The full reasoning sits on the blueprint page.
